Kathleen Lawrence was a Fort Worth Texas painter and art instructor. She studied art early on from Fort Worth painter, Sallie Blyth Mummert and Bror Utter. She was married to Clifton H Lawrence. She exhibited at many shows across the state including the Annual Texas Artists Exhibition in Fort Worth 1933 – 1937. She exhibited at the Southern States Art League Annual Exhibition in the years 1937, 1939, 1941. She also exhibited at the National Exhibition of American Art at Rockefeller Center in New York in 1938. She exhibited at the Annual Fort Worth Local Artists Show, 1940 and 1941. She was affiliated with the Allied Artists Club of Fort Worth, the For Worth Artists Guild, and the Southern States Art League. She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art 3.
