“My works are inspired by the time that I spend outdoors in nature. As much as possible, I prefer to work from life. My goal as an artist is to capture the strength and beauty of the animals that I depict. Weather in paint or bronze, I strive for a loose texture while retaining the essence and personality of each animal” – Douglas Clark.
